WachoviaBank-Sucks

Back in 2006, Wachovia bank took me for over $5600 in fees that should never have been charged to me. Long story short, I made several deposits into my company account, they put holds on the funds without notifying me (which they never held money before) on an account that was over 4 years old.

I made a huge stink, when guerrilla on them including bull horn in front of their building, fliers and website at Tampa Stadium, and finally a newspaper article in the St. Petersburg times.

I finally got a check from them about 6 months later, and it was for all the fees, and everything! I was shocked. I am glad to see that they were bought out by Wells Fargo, and they will hopefully be gone. I refuse to do any business with them, and I watch every transaction with my current credit union. I still don’t trust banks and watch their every move! Even with my current mortgage with another “bank in america” if you know what I mean…

My words to you, don’t give up! If you are wronged by a bank, or any other company, don’t break any laws trying to get your money back, but work your way up the ladder until you reach the “guy at the top”. Sometimes, that is just what it takes.

Keep your chin up, and stay positive!

Good luck,

Steve
